There are lots of hidden gems around the Cotswolds, and you’re in luck because we know just where to find them!

The Cotswold Way

Why not take a romantic walk along the Cotswold Way with its rolling hills, wild meadows, ancient woodlands and gentle, meandering streams; you will be surrounded by some of the most quintessentially beautiful backdrops. The Cotswolds is home to the English countryside of your dreams!

Discover the beauty and tranquillity of the world heritage site that is Blenheim Palace. Enter the Palace and explore our gilded State Rooms with their priceless collections of portraits, tapestries and furniture. Why not watch the sunsets over Blenheim Palace and the surrounding Parkland and get lost (metaphorically!) in the beautiful grounds!

Lord of the Rings fan?

The Cotswolds is home to the two trees attached to St. Edwards Church in Stow-on-the-Wold, these are widely believed to be the inspiration for something that appears in The Lord of the Rings. Apparently, the church inspired JRR Tolkien’s door to Moria. Then head to the Bell Inn situated in the picturesque Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The Bell Inn is considered by many to be JRR Tolkien’s inspiration for the ‘Prancing Pony’, Middle Earth’s most famous pub in ‘The Lord of the Rings’.

Fine Dining

Whisk your partner away to feast on an extravagant menu, at any of the fine dining restaurants and pubs in the Cotswolds area. A few of our favioute are The Wild Rabbit, MBB Brasserie and The Potting Shed Bar. Then retiring to one of the many amazing hotels the Cotswolds has to offer. If you want to stay longer, why not extend your stay, as you can see the Cotswolds has plenty to offer…. after all, this is your Valentine’s Day!
